The final game of the weekend in the Genero Adran Premier produced the most drama as Pontypridd United scored a 93rd-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 against league leaders Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds had not dropped any points in their first six matches of the campaign and took the lead at USW Sports Park through Megan Bowen’s stunning strike five minutes before half-time.
It was substitute Renee Day who found the late, late goal for the Dragons as she headed home from a corner to spark wild scenes of celebration from the hosts.
There was also late drama at Jenner Park as The New Saints secured a 3-2 victory over Barry Town United to move up to fifth in the table.
Emily Ridge scored twice to give the visitors a 2-0 lead, but they were pegged back as Lauren Harris and Manon Pearce found the net. Not to be deterred though, Ridge completed her hat-trick in the 83rd minute and TNS held on to win.
Aberystwyth Town picked up just their second league win of the season as they triumphed 4-1 over bottom of the table Abergavenny.
Gwenllian Jones scored twice, while Shauna Chambers and Libby Isaac were also on target as the Seasiders pushed away from relegation danger.
The points were shared between second-place Cardiff Met and third-place Swansea City in a closely-fought 1-1 draw.
Both goals were scored in the space of three first half minutes as Sophie Hancocks broke the deadlock before Nieve Jenkins headed in an equaliser.
