Genero Adran Premier | Weekend preview

Following last weekend’s Genero Adran Trophy ties, the Genero Adran Premier resumed in midweek and there are three more fixtures to look forward to this weekend.

Swansea City won big on Wednesday night as they triumphed 5-0 on home turf against strugglers Abergavenny.

Ceri Phillips’ team now travel to Barry Town United, who have lost their last two league matches and were knocked out of the Genero Adran Trophy last weekend by second tier side Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Cardiff Met’s last two league games have been defeats to neighbours Cardiff City, including a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of the Bluebirds in midweek.

The Archers will therefore hope that a trip to The New Saints provides some respite. However, Greg Draper’s side are on a three-match unbeaten run in all competitions and could move into the top half if other results go their way.

Pontypridd United are only one point ahead of Aberystwyth Town going into their clash at USW Sports Park.

Both clubs have found form in recent weeks, with the Dragons unbeaten in their previous four league games and the Seasiders winning their last two. They also both progressed in the Genero Adran Trophy last weekend.
