The countdown to the 2022/23 Genero Adran Premier season has officially begun with the Phase One fixtures released.

Genero Adran Premier clubs will kick off the new campaign on Sunday 4th September, with the defending champions Swansea City taking on 2021/22 runners-up Cardiff Met in a standout fixture on the opening weekend.

The Swans are in search of their fourth straight top-flight title this term after being crowned champions with a game to spare last term.

Cardiff Met, meanwhile, lifted the Genero Adran Trophy last season and Yzzy Taylor's side will look to challenge the Swans for the title again this time around.

Cardiff City rounded off the 2021/22 campaign by sealing the FAW Women's Cup and will look to build on an impressive season, starting with a home fixture against Pontypridd United.

The Dragons finished fifth last term and will begin the new season under new head coach James Fishlock with Fern Burrage-Male on maternity leave.

Abergavenny are preparing for life back in the top flight after being crowned inaugural Genero Adran South champions last season and start their campaign with a clash against Aberystwyth Town, who finished fourth in 2021/22, at Pen-Y-Pound Stadium.

Elsewhere on the opening weekend, a clash between two teams who finished sixth and seventh respectively last term sees The New Saints and Barry Town United meet at Park Hall.

The Genero Adran Premier Phase One campaign will conclude on Sunday 29th January.

Please note all fixtures kick off at 2pm but may be subject to change.
