10 players from the Genero Adran Premier have been called up to the Cymru WU17 and WU19 squads that will travel to Portugal this month.
The teams will take part in two-mini tournaments as part of their preparations for the Second Round of their UEFA EURO 2023 qualifying campaigns. Full details can be found here.
Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City have six representatives in the U19 squad, including new signing Manon Pearce who joined from Barry Town United last month. She is accompanied by Emily Roberts, Phoebie Poole, Hollie Smith, Megan Bowen and Lily Billingham.
Aberystwyth Town pair Elen Valentine and Elin Jones complete the Genero Adran Premier representation in Nicola Anderson’s squad.
Evie Hughes recently departed Cardiff City to join Pontypridd United and she is named in the U17 squad alongside her new team-mate Olivia Francis.
There is also an U17 call-up for 14-year-old Vera Jones, who plays for Barry Town United’s academy.
Congratulations to all players selected and good luck in Portugal!
